RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

This Returns & Exchange Policy ("Policy") governs all purchases made through the official website of RÉGNER ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). This Policy has been formulated to provide customers with a transparent understanding of the Company's exchange procedures, customer responsibilities, eligibility requirements, and related obligations concerning post-purchase requests.

RÉGNER is committed to delivering premium-quality apparel and providing a fair, transparent, and efficient customer experience. While we strive to ensure that every product reaches our customers in perfect condition and in the correct size, we recognize that genuine size-related issues may occasionally arise. Accordingly, this Policy establishes the exclusive circumstances under which an exchange may be requested and processed.

This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Use of the Website and shall apply to every purchase made through the Company's official online platform unless expressly stated otherwise.


RECITALS

WHEREAS, RÉGNER operates as a premium fashion and apparel brand offering luxury garments directly to consumers through its official website;

WHEREAS, the Company is committed to maintaining consistent standards of product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational transparency;

WHEREAS, the Company has adopted this Policy to establish a structured procedure for evaluating and processing exchange requests arising solely from genuine size-related concerns;

WHEREAS, the Company does not provide returns or exchanges based on customer preference, change of mind, style preference, colour preference, or similar subjective reasons;

WHEREAS, all exchange requests shall remain subject to verification, inspection, and compliance with the conditions prescribed herein;

NOW THEREFORE, the Company adopts this Returns & Exchange Policy.


1. DEFINITIONS

Unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions shall have the meanings assigned below.

1.1 Company

"Company" means RÉGNER, including its successors, affiliates, assigns, employees, representatives, logistics partners, and authorized personnel.

1.2 Customer

"Customer" means any individual purchasing products directly through the official website of RÉGNER.

1.3 Product

"Product" means any apparel, clothing, accessory, merchandise, or other goods sold by the Company.

1.4 Exchange

"Exchange" means replacement of an eligible Product with the same Product in another available size after successful inspection and approval.

1.5 Exchange Request

An "Exchange Request" means a formal request submitted by the Customer seeking an exchange in accordance with this Policy.

1.6 Size Issue

"Size Issue" means a genuine concern that the delivered Product does not fit the Customer despite the Product being ordered in the intended size.

A Size Issue shall not include:

  • Personal preference

  • Loose fit preference

  • Oversized preference

  • Slim fit preference

  • Styling preference

  • Fashion preference

The Company shall determine whether a request qualifies as a genuine Size Issue.

1.7 Inspection

"Inspection" means the internal quality verification process undertaken by RÉGNER after receiving the returned Product.

1.8 Replacement Product

"Replacement Product" means the same Product in another available size approved by the Company.

1.9 Store Credit

"Store Credit" means a digital credit issued by the Company equal to the value of the approved returned Product where an exchange cannot be completed due to stock unavailability.


2. PURPOSE

The purpose of this Policy is to establish a fair and transparent framework governing exchanges of Products purchased from RÉGNER.

This Policy is intended to:

  • Define eligibility requirements;

  • Establish customer obligations;

  • Outline inspection procedures;

  • Explain timelines;

  • Clarify shipping responsibilities;

  • Protect both the Customer and the Company.

This Policy shall prevail over any inconsistent communication unless otherwise required by applicable law.


3. APPLICABILITY

This Policy applies exclusively to Products purchased directly through the official website of RÉGNER.

Products purchased through third-party marketplaces, retail partners, distributors, resellers, or other channels shall remain subject to the return and exchange policies applicable to those respective sellers.


4. GENERAL POLICY

RÉGNER follows a limited exchange model.

Accordingly:

  • Products are not eligible for return or exchange due to:

    • change of mind;

    • dislike of colour;

    • dislike of design;

    • preference for another style;

    • preference for another Product;

    • expectation mismatch;

    • gifting reasons; or

    • any subjective preference.

The Company shall process exchanges only where a genuine Size Issue exists and all conditions of this Policy have been satisfied.

The Company reserves the sole discretion to determine eligibility after inspection.


5. ELIGIBILITY FOR EXCHANGE

A Product shall qualify for exchange only when all of the following conditions are fulfilled.

5.1 Time Limit

The Customer must submit an Exchange Request within seven (7) calendar days from the date of successful delivery.

Requests submitted after seven days shall automatically become ineligible.


5.2 Product Condition

The Product must be returned in its original condition.

Accordingly, the Product must:

  • remain unused;

  • remain unworn;

  • remain unwashed;

  • remain unaltered;

  • remain free from stains;

  • remain free from perfume;

  • remain free from deodorant marks;

  • remain free from body odour;

  • remain free from dirt;

  • remain free from pet hair;

  • remain free from smoke;

  • remain free from cosmetic marks.


5.3 Original Packaging

The Product must be returned with:

  • original tags;

  • original labels;

  • original packaging;

  • protective materials;

  • accessories (if applicable);

  • original invoice or proof of purchase.

Failure to return these items may result in rejection.


5.4 Genuine Size Issue

The Customer must clearly specify the Size Issue.

The Company may request:

  • photographs;

  • measurements;

  • additional information;

  • order details.

Providing false information may result in permanent rejection of future exchange requests.


6. PRODUCTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR EXCHANGE

Without limitation, the following Products shall not qualify.

6.1 Used Products

Products showing signs of:

  • wearing;

  • washing;

  • ironing;

  • alterations;

  • stretching;

  • damage;

  • stains;

  • perfumes;

  • deodorants;

  • smoke;

  • chemicals;

  • pet hair.


6.2 Damaged by Customer

Products damaged after delivery due to misuse shall remain ineligible.


6.3 Missing Tags

Products returned without:

  • original tags;

  • labels;

  • packaging;

  • invoice.


6.4 Requests Beyond Seven Days

Requests received after seven calendar days from delivery shall automatically lapse.


6.5 Multiple Exchanges

Only one exchange shall be permitted against a particular order.

No second exchange shall be entertained.


6.6 Limited Edition Products

Products specifically marked as:

  • Final Sale;

  • Non-Exchangeable;

  • Limited Edition;

  • Clearance Sale;

shall remain outside the scope of this Policy unless expressly stated otherwise.


7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Every Customer requesting an exchange shall:

  • provide accurate information;

  • cooperate with verification requests;

  • pack the Product securely;

  • dispatch the Product within the timeline communicated by the Company;

  • ensure that the returned Product complies with every condition under this Policy.

The Customer shall remain solely responsible for any loss or damage occurring during return transit where the courier has been arranged by the Customer.

8. EXCHANGE PROCEDURE

RÉGNER follows a structured verification process to ensure that every exchange request is handled fairly and consistently. An exchange shall only be processed after the Company has completed all verification and inspection requirements described under this Policy.

Step 1 – Submission of Exchange Request

The Customer must submit an exchange request within seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery by contacting the Company's customer support through the designated email address or exchange portal available on the official website.

The request must include:

  • Order Number;

  • Customer Name;

  • Registered Email Address;

  • Contact Number;

  • Product Name;

  • Size Ordered;

  • Required Replacement Size;

  • Reason for Exchange;

  • Photographs of the Product;

  • Any additional information requested by the Company.

The Company reserves the right to request additional photographs or supporting information before proceeding further.


Step 2 – Preliminary Review

Upon receiving the exchange request, RÉGNER shall conduct a preliminary review to determine whether the request appears to satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed under this Policy.

Submission of an exchange request shall not be construed as approval of the exchange.

The Company may reject requests that are incomplete, inaccurate, submitted beyond the prescribed timeline, or otherwise inconsistent with this Policy.


Step 3 – Return Instructions

If the preliminary review is successful, the Customer shall receive return instructions.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing by the Company, the Customer shall arrange return shipment of the Product at the Customer's sole cost and responsibility.

The Customer shall carefully package the Product to prevent any transit damage.

The Company shall not be responsible for any Product lost, delayed, damaged, or misplaced during return transit.


Step 4 – Receipt of Product

Upon receipt of the returned Product, the Company shall record the return and initiate the inspection process.

Receipt of the Product does not constitute acceptance of the exchange request.


9. QUALITY INSPECTION

Every returned Product shall undergo a comprehensive quality inspection.

The inspection process is mandatory and no exchange shall be approved prior to successful completion of such inspection.

During inspection, the Company may verify, among other things:

  • Product condition;

  • Original tags;

  • Packaging;

  • Stitching;

  • Fabric condition;

  • Odour;

  • Signs of washing;

  • Signs of ironing;

  • Signs of wear;

  • Alterations;

  • Damage;

  • Missing components;

  • Authenticity of the returned Product.

The Company's inspection findings shall be final for the purpose of processing the exchange.


9.1 Failed Inspection

An exchange request may be rejected if the Company determines that the Product:

  • has been worn;

  • has been washed;

  • has been altered;

  • has been damaged after delivery;

  • contains stains;

  • contains perfume or deodorant marks;

  • contains smoke odour;

  • contains pet hair;

  • has missing tags;

  • has missing packaging;

  • does not correspond to the original Product supplied.

Where inspection fails, the Customer shall not be entitled to an exchange.

The Company may, at its discretion, return the Product to the Customer, with all courier expenses being borne by the Customer.


10. SHIPPING & COURIER CHARGES

RÉGNER does not provide free exchanges.

The Customer shall bear all expenses associated with the exchange process.

These include, without limitation:

  • reverse pickup charges;

  • return courier charges;

  • freight charges;

  • replacement shipment charges;

  • taxes imposed by courier companies;

  • handling charges;

  • any additional logistics expenses.

The Company shall not reimburse any shipping costs incurred by the Customer.


11. APPROVAL OF EXCHANGE

Where the returned Product successfully passes inspection and the requested replacement size is available, the Company shall process the exchange within a reasonable period.

The replacement Product shall be dispatched only after:

  • successful inspection;

  • confirmation of stock availability; and

  • payment of applicable shipping charges by the Customer, where required.

The Company does not guarantee immediate dispatch.

Processing times may vary depending upon inventory, operational requirements, logistics partners, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.


12. UNAVAILABLE SIZE

If the requested replacement size is unavailable, the Company may, at its sole discretion:

  • offer Store Credit equivalent to the purchase value of the returned Product;

  • permit selection of another available size, where appropriate; or

  • decline the exchange if no suitable alternative is available.

Store Credit shall not be redeemable for cash and shall remain subject to the terms communicated at the time of issuance.


13. NO CASH REFUNDS

RÉGNER does not provide refunds for Products purchased through its official website except where required by applicable law.

Customers shall not be entitled to receive:

  • cash refunds;

  • bank transfers;

  • UPI refunds;

  • credit card reversals;

  • debit card reversals;

  • wallet transfers;

  • cheque payments.

Nothing contained in this Policy shall restrict any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.


14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Company shall not be liable for:

  • incorrect size selected by the Customer;

  • delay caused by courier partners;

  • loss during customer-arranged shipment;

  • incorrect delivery information provided by the Customer;

  • delay caused by force majeure events;

  • stock unavailability;

  • technical interruptions;

  • customs delays;

  • governmental actions.

The Company's aggregate liability shall, to the maximum extent permitted by law, not exceed the purchase price of the Product giving rise to the claim.


15. FRAUDULENT CLAIMS

The Company reserves the right to reject any exchange request that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, abusive, or made in bad faith.

This includes, without limitation:

  • false claims regarding Product condition;

  • return of a different Product;

  • manipulated photographs;

  • repeated misuse of the exchange policy;

  • intentional damage to Products.

The Company may suspend or permanently restrict future purchases where fraudulent activity is identified.

17. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

In accordance with applicable law, Customers may submit grievances relating to Products or exchanges to the designated Grievance Officer.

The grievance should include:

  • Customer Name;

  • Order Number;

  • Contact Details;

  • Nature of Complaint;

  • Supporting Documents.

The Company shall endeavour to acknowledge complaints within forty-eight (48) hours and resolve them within the period prescribed under applicable law.


18. GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

Subject to applicable consumer laws, the courts at New Delhi, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy.


19. AMENDMENTS

RÉGNER reserves the right to amend, modify, replace, suspend, or withdraw this Policy at any time without prior notice.

The latest version published on the official website shall supersede all previous versions and shall become effective from the date of publication unless otherwise stated.

Customers are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.


20. ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY

By placing an order through the official RÉGNER website, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Returns & Exchange Policy.

The Customer further acknowledges that:

  • exchanges are permitted only for genuine size-related issues;

  • all returned Products are subject to mandatory inspection;

  • the Company reserves the right to reject Products that fail inspection;

  • the Customer shall bear all reverse pickup, return courier, and replacement shipping charges;

  • this Policy forms an integral part of the Company's Terms of Use and governs all exchange-related requests unless otherwise required by applicable law.

This Policy shall remain effective until amended or withdrawn by RÉGNER.
